Abstract:The progress of polymer-nanocomposites is reviewed. The preparation methods are classified into four categories directly bl ending nano-units with polymer (including preparation and surface-modification of nano-units), in situ synthesizing nano-units in polymer matrix, in situ po lymerizing in the presence of nano-units and simultaneously synthesizing nano- units and polymer. The characterization and application of polymer-nanocomposit es are also introduced.
