    Abstract:

A new type of mixed fabrics reinforced composite was madeꎬ using carbon and glass plain cloth/ epoxy
prepregs. The tensileꎬbendingꎬshear mechanical properties and conductive property are tested. The results show that
the mixed fabric enhanced composite has lower tensile and bending strength than the composite which was reinforced
by the pure glass fabricꎬ but the modules are higherꎬ in -50 to 200℃. The shear test shows that both composites have
the same interlaminal shear strength. Besidesꎬ adding the carbon fiber results is decrease in the composite density and
but increase in propertyꎬ and broaden the application of the glass fabric enhanced composites.
