    Incrementalformingtechnologyisaveryimportantpartofpreciseshapingtechnology.Incrementalformingtechnologyasanewtypeofprecisionplasticformingincludesmanycharacteristicssuchas
    smalltonnage,localloading,dieless (orflexibledie)andunconstrained,whichcanformed morecomplex
    shapepartwithoutspecialdieandalsohassomefavorablefeaturessuchassmallformingloadandhighflexibility.
    Thistechnologyisparticularlysuitableformulti-varietyandsmall-batchproductionofparts,sothat
    moreattentionsarepaidtoitbytheinternationalcommunity.Thisarticlefocusesontheformingprinciple,
    formingtechnology,formingequipment,researchstatusandotherresearchresultsofthisnewincremental
    formingtechnologyinfourtypicalformingprocess,whicharein-planebendingunderunequallocalloadingincrementalforming,
    singlepointincrementalforming,multi-pointflexibledieformingandhigh-speedcold
