Abstract:ThesamplesofabsorbinghoneycombwerepreparedbyusingNomexhoneycomb,multicomponentabsorbentandphenolicresin.Effectsofheight,thicknessofsheetandcontentoftheabsorbentofthe honeycombonradarabsorbingpropertiesofthehoneycombsandwichwereinvestigated.Theresultsindicate thateffectivebandwidthinwhichreflectivityislessthan-10dBextendstolowfrequencyasheightofthe honeycombincreases,asthicknessofthesheetincreases,reflectivityoftheabsorbinghoneycombsandwich inlowfrequencybanddecreasesandthatinhighfrequencybandincreases,dipfrequencyofthereflectivity lowersastheweightoftheabsorbentadheringtothehoneycombwallincreases.
