Abstract:Byusinggel-castingprocess,poroussiliconnitrideceramicsofdifferentratiosbetweenmonomerandcrosslinkerwerepreparedundertheconditionofafixedtotalamountbutdi ferentproportionofmonomerandcross-linkingagent.Theeffectsofdifferentproportionofmonomerandcross-linkingagentonthemicrostructureandmechanicalproperties ofporoussiliconnitridewerestudiedbymeansofthescanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),archimedesmethodandthreepointbendingmethod.Theresultsshowedthatthedryingshrinkageofspecimensincreasedastheproportionofmonomer andcross-linkingagentincreased,thespecimenscrackedafterbindersburningwhentheproportionofmonomerandcrosslinkingagentwasaboveorequal15.However,thosesinteringspecimenswithproportionsofmonomerandcross-linkingagentbelow15displayedarisingtrendofstrengthastheproportionincreased.
