The status of applications such as HIP technology in the fields of metals, metal matrix composites, inorganic non-metallic materials and polymer materials is discussed, and the simulation technology of the isostatic pressing is reviewed. At the same time, the development trend of composite molding process of the isostatic pressing technology and 3D printing technology is analyzed, and the future of isostatic pressing techniques is prospected.
